Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Qlik Sense Developer (1–2 years of experience) to design, develop, and support business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Qlik Sense application development, data modeling, and SQL, along with a strong understanding of BI best practices. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and insightful analytics solutions.

 

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a Business Intelligence or Qlik Developer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

 

Required Technical Skills

   Qlik Sense Development

• Hands-on experience in Qlik Sense dashboard development, data modeling, and report creation
• Experience creating interactive visualizations, KPIs, and ad-hoc analysis dashboards
• Working knowledge of QVD generation and usage
• Understanding of Set Analysis and data transformation techniques
• Basic experience with **Qlik NPrinting** for report generation (pixel-perfect reporting is a plus)

 

Database & Data Handling

• Working knowledge of SQL in at least one database system such as:
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle Database
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
• Understanding of database concepts including normalization, joins, and basic star schema design
• Familiarity with incremental data loads and QVD lifecycle concepts
• Experience configuring data connections (ODBC, REST APIs, or other standard connectors)

  

Administration & Integration (Basic Exposure Preferred)

• Basic understanding of Qlik Management Console (QMC)
• Familiarity with security rules, data connections, and user access management
• Exposure to Qlik APIs (Engine API or QRS API) is an advantage
• Basic troubleshooting and application monitoring knowledge

 

Communication & Documentation

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience preparing technical documentation and user guides
• Ability to present dashboards and insights to business users

 

Good-to-Have Skills

• Understanding of the end-to-end BI project lifecycle (requirements gathering to deployment and support)
• Exposure to Qlik Sense mashups using Capability APIs
• Basic knowledge of BI testing and validation processes
• Familiarity with Qlik Sense SaaS environments
• Awareness of CI/CD concepts in BI development
• Exposure to Python or R integration within Qlik

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain Qlik Sense applications with optimized and scalable data models
2. Create and support NPrinting reports and scheduled distribution tasks
3. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements
4. Perform data validation and ensure accuracy of dashboards and reports

Maintain proper technical documentation

Specialization Description

Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.
