Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic on a freelance basis to handle maintenance and repair of construction machinery. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience and be capable of working independently at project sites.

• Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy equipment such as ROC (Rock Drilling Machines), , Heavy Cranes, Trenc cutters, and TBM (Tunnel Boring Machines)
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in drilling and construction machinery
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Repair and replace faulty components including engines, pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems
• Ensure all machines are operating safely and efficiently at project sites
• Maintain service records and report major issues to supervisors
• Coordinate with site engineers and operators for equipment performance and breakdowns
• Follow safety standards and company guidelines while handling heavy machinery
