Job Description

Key Responsibilities


1. Recruitment & Training

• Hire yoga instructors, counselors, receptionists, and housekeeping staff.

• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and ensure background verification.

• Organize onboarding sessions for new teachers and staff.

• Maintain a database of certified yoga teachers and visiting faculty.


2. Attendance, Payroll & Incentives

• Track daily attendance and punctuality of staff and trainers.

• Process monthly payroll, bonuses, and incentives accurately.

• Manage teacher payments based on class count or course completion.

• Maintain leave records and handle salary queries or disputes.


3. Performance & Conduct

• Monitor class feedback and student reviews for performance evaluation.

• Conduct monthly reviews for each department (teaching, counseling, admin).

• Handle disciplinary actions with firmness and fairness.

• Build accountability through KPIs (e.g., class quality, punctuality, conversion rates).


4. Scheduling & Operations

• Coordinate daily class and batch schedules with course coordinators.

• Ensure teacher replacements in case of absence.

• Maintain smooth communication between management, teachers, and students.

• Supervise cleanliness, ambiance, and staff behavior in yoga halls and hostels.


5. Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and update HR documents: offer letters, agreements, and policy manuals.

• Maintain YCB/IYA/Alliance staff and faculty compliance records.

• Coordinate with accounts for PF, ESI, and vendor payments.


6. Culture & Engagement

• Plan monthly staff meetings, training sessions, and internal events.

• Ensure harmony and professionalism within the teaching staff.

• Support management in implementing reward and recognition systems.



Required Skills

• 3–6 years of HR or operations management experience (preferably in wellness or hospitality).

• Strong command over English & Hindi for communication with international students.

• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for attendance and payroll.

• Ability to multitask across departments and maintain confidentiality.

• Balanced personality: firm, organized, and culturally aware of yoga ethos.

• Attendance and payroll accuracy.

• Smooth batch transitions without schedule gaps.

• Reduction in founder intervention for HR matters
