Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Import Export Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the import and export operations of our company, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and optimizing efficiency in logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate must have: 

1. Develop and implement import and export strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
2. Manage all aspects of import and export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and logistics.
3. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including tariffs, customs laws, and trade agreements.
4. Stay up-to-date with changes in import and export regulations and ensure that our company remains in compliance.
5. Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
6. Negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other service providers to achieve cost-effective transportation solutions.
7. Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for expansion in international markets.
8. An aspiring go-getter, willing to work as an entrepreneur and achieve/exceed given targets. 

Requirements:

1. Experience: 6 months to 2 years
2. Good communication skills in English will be preferred
3. Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
4. Proven experience in import and export operations, preferably in a managerial role.
5. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
