📌 Role Overview


An Inside Sales Executive in an IT SaaS company is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing inbound and outbound leads, conducting product

demonstrations, and closing subscription-based software deals. The role focuses on remote selling through calls, emails, video meetings, and CRM-driven workflows.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and nurture leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and marketing campaigns
  • Conduct product demos and presentations via video conferencing
  • Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate SaaS solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM (pipeline updates, forecasts, notes)
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Coordinate with marketing for campaigns and lead follow-ups
  • Work closely with customer success for onboarding handoff
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and subscription terms
  • Track competitors and market trends


🛠 Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
  • 1–4 years of experience in inside sales, SaaS sales, or IT solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho)
  • Understanding of SaaS business model (subscription, ARR, MRR, churn)
  • Ability to handle objections and close deals effectively
  • Target-driven mindset with strong follow-up skills
