iPhone Repair Technician – Job Description (JD)An iPhone repair technician (sometimes called Mobile/Apple Technician) is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software issues on Apple phones. General responsibilities often include:
- 🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose hardware & software faults on iPhones.
- Replace parts such as screens, batteries, buttons, cameras, charging ports, etc.
- Perform full device disassembly and reassembly safely.
- Test devices after repair (touch, camera, network, Face ID, etc.).
- Maintain repair records, job cards & parts logs.
- Provide simple customer communication about repair status.
- Follow safety procedures like ESD protection and correct tool usage.
- 🛠 Skills & RequirementsTechnical knowledge of iPhone hardware/software.
- Good troubleshooting skills and careful manual dexterity.
- Experience using repair tools and equipment.
- Basic customer service communication (especially if dealing with customers directly).
- 🎓 Education & ExperienceOften 12th pass is sufficient for entry level.
- Experience with phone repairs is typically preferred (1 + yrs).
