Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Java Kafka! 

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based microservices and Kafka applications. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using modern development practices and cloud-native technologies. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain scalable Java 8+ backend services using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.  

• Design and implement Kafka-based solutions for real-time data streaming and processing.  

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and related testing frameworks.  

• Ensure code quality through peer reviews and automated testing pipelines.  

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Github, CircleCI, and Jenkins.  

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of services.  

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.  

• Work closely with Product Owners, QA, and other developers to deliver features on time. Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.  

• Hands-on of experience in Java application development and Maintenance   

• Strong hands-on experience with:  

• Java 8 or above versions  

• Spring Boot  

• Microservices  

• Kafka   

• Junit or Unit Testing or test-driven development  

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.  

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently  

• Excellent Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills to interact with Client 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Strong hands-on experience with:  

• CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, CircleCI  

• Cloud platforms: GCP or similar  

• Angular, Rxjs, Ngrx  

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or Jasmine.  

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.  

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stack driver.
