In this role, As a Spotfire developer, your role revolves around designing, developing, and maintaining data visualization.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and requirements.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Spotfire, ensuring data integrity and usability.
• Design intuitive and insightful dashboards and reports using Spotfire to visualize complex datasets.
• Customize Spotfire visualizations using scripting languages such as IronPython to meet specific business requirements.
• Optimize the performance of Spotfire visualizations to ensure fast loading times and smooth user experience.
• Conduct data analysis using Spotfire to uncover insights, trends, and patterns in the data.
• Identify and resolve issues with Spotfire visualizations, data connections, and scripts.
• Document design specifications, data models, and development processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
• Work closely with other team members such as data engineers, business analysts, and data scientists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use Spotfire dashboards and reports.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in data visualization, Spotfire, and related technologies to continuously improve skills and solutions.
• Conduct testing and validation of Spotfire visualizations to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business requirements.
• Ensure that Spotfire solutions adhere to security policies, data governance standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization in Spotfire development workflows.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as an Spotfire Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of TIBCO Spotfire functionality and features.
• Ability to create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Spotfire.
• Familiarity with Spotfire scripting languages (e.g., IronPython) for customization and automation.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and architectures.
• Basic understanding of programming languages like Python, R, or JavaScript.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• TIBCO Spotfire certifications, such as TIBCO Spotfire Data Analyst or TIBCO Spotfire Developer, are preferred.
• Relevant certifications in data visualization, data analysis, or related areas (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
• Previous experience in specific industries such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, or retail, depending on the organization's focus.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and real-time data streams.
• Experience leading or contributing to Spotfire development projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
