We are seeking a hands-on mid-level Data & Reporting Analyst in the GSD India team, who owns data intake, validation, formatting and standard reporting for Carrier Relations Team initiatives, including MarketInSight, Carrier Survey, Supplemental Compensation Transparency/Disclosure and other major projects in the Carrier Relations work stream.

What can you expect?
As a hands-on mid-level analyst, you would be responsible for owning data intake, validation, formatting and standard reporting for Carrier Relations Team initiatives, including MarketInSight, Carrier Survey, Supplemental Compensation Transparency/Disclosure and other major projects as they arise. You would be working with carrier relations team to resolve issues, develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and deliver high-quality datasets that senior analysts use to surface insights.
We will count on you for:
Manage intake of carrier files: receive, validate, transform and load into MarketInSight workflows.
Support Carrier Survey: help clean, reconcile, and initial analysis on responses.
Administer Supplemental Compensation Opt-out, disclosure, and exception processes
Act as the initiative coordinator for projects assigned by Carrier Relations to GSD – prioritizing tasks, keep stakeholders informed with status reports, and organize meetings.
Provide analytic support for supplemental compensation tasks (prep, reconciliation, summary tables).
Perform data quality assurance: automated and manual checks, field-level validation, reconciliation to prior periods.
Format data and deliver reports to set presentation standards and templates.
Maintain and update SOPs, document process changes and runbooks.
Work with carrier relations and US-based colleagues to triage problems and propose fixes.
Organize data for recurring reporting so senior staff can focus on insights, not cleaning.
Apply basic data modeling and storage best practices under guidance to protect reporting integrity.
What you need to have:
Required (must-have)
Graduate with minimum 8 years of work experience
3–5 years analytics/data role experience (insurance/benefits preferred).
Advanced MS Excel skills and experience handling large datasets in Excel: advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, VBA/macros. Must be comfortable doing validation and reporting primarily in Excel (not dependent on other tools).
Strong data QA, reconciliation and attention to detail.
Clear written and spoken English; can communicate issues and SOPs to US stakeholders.
Problem-solver mindset; can propose practical solutions and follow through.
Self-initiator who can proactively identify any concerns and make suggestions for resolution in a timely manner.
Nice-to-have
Basic SQL (ability to run simple queries).
Exposure to Power BI/Tableau/Qlik or Python/pandas.
Prior experience working with carrier data or surveys.
Familiarity with project management applications, Smartsheet, and Vizio
