Job Description

Job Description – Manual Tester

1. Work location: Noida
2. Mode of work: Hybrid (3 days to office every week)
3. Shift Timings: UK Shift

5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance (Manual Testing).

1. Strong experience in database testing.
2. Experience testing web and mobile applications.
3. Good understanding and practical experience with defect tracking tools.
4. Experience in API testing.
5. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
7. ISTQB certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
2. Conduct thorough database testing as part of validation efforts.
3. Create and maintain comprehensive test deliverables, including test plans, test cases, test data, and traceability matrices.
4. Ensure that defects are logged accurately, reviewed, prioritized, and triaged effectively.
5. Use defect tracking tools to manage and monitor issues through closure.
6. Perform API testing as part of system integration and functional validation.
7. Work independently as an individual contributor while collaborating with cross-functional teams when needed.
8. Communicate clearly with stakeholders and provide regular testing updates.

 

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years

Qualifications

B.tech/ MCA, having relevant experience in software testing. Preferably ISTQB certified (2A and above)
