Job Description

he role requires a blend of traditional marketing skills, in-depth product knowledge, and an understanding of the complex healthcare market dynamics. 

Key responsibilities and duties typically include:

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for product portfolios that align with business goals to drive sales and market share.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conducting in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs, as well as analyzing competitor activities and market data to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Product Launches: Leading the go-to-market strategy and execution for new product introductions (NPI), coordinating across product development, sales, and clinical teams to ensure successful positioning and adoption.
  • Content Creation and Management: Creating and managing content for various channels, including brochures, white papers, case studies, press releases, website materials, and social media, ensuring all technical details and claims are accurate and evidence-based.
  • Digital and Omnichannel Marketing: Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns (SEO, social media, email marketing, paid ads) to build brand awareness, generate leads, and engage target audiences.
  • Healthcare Professional (HCP) Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with doctors, specialists, hospital administrators, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) through field visits, presentations, and the organization of educational events or seminars (e.g., CMEs).
  • Sales Collaboration: Partnering closely with sales teams to develop strategies for increasing market penetration, providing them with necessary marketing support and materials, and using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track interactions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all marketing materials, claims, and promotional activities strictly comply with industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, EU MDR), as this is a heavily regulated sector.
  • Budget and Project Management: Managing marketing budgets, tracking the return on investment (ROI) for campaigns, and overseeing projects from concept to completion within given constraints. 

The person in this role must have strong communication skills, an analytical mindset,creativity, and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment to bridge the gap between technical innovation and commercial success
