Primary Responsibilities

·      Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product’s direction.

·      Collaborate with the client to gather requirements and convert them into functional specifications and/or technical requirements

·      Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. 

·      Implementation of security and data protection.

·      Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.

·      Development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

·      Responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by other team members into the application.

·      Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

·      Integration of data storage solutions (Mongo DB)

Required Experience / Qualifications

·      Strong Knowledge of Node.js, Mongo and ReactJS frameworks.

·      Good understanding of server-side template languages, such as EJS, etc.

·      Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processors, such as SCSS etc.

·      Strong understanding of creation and execution of REST APIs 

·      Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as React, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3 etc.

·      Understanding accessibility and security compliance.

·      User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

·      Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system. 

·      Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

·      Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.

·      Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.

·      Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.

·      Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

·      Experience in a consulting environment with demonstrated collaboration, creativity and innovation.

·      Experience leading technical discussions, scope decisions, and recommend best practices.

·      Working knowledge of various SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Iterative models.

·      2-5 years of relevant experience

·      Qualification – Engineering Degree / MCA / Graduate in Designing/ Specialized certifications related to Designing

Travel Required

·      Generally not but would depend on Client assignments/ projects.
