NOC Engineer

 We are looking for an NOC Engineer who will be responsible for the integration, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5Gbase stations.

The role involves network alarm handling, swapping, change and configuration management, and migration of legacy technologies to modern platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integration of eNodeB: Handle FDD, TDD, TDD Twin Beam, L2100, L900, and Carrier Aggregation.
• Relocation Integration: Perform E2E relocation and configuration of base stations.
• Change, Config, and Fault Management: Handle all network change requests, configuration tweaks, alarm, and fault management tasks.
• Modernization: Support network modernization by migrating from 2GTDM to 2G ABIS over IP.
• Swapping: Lead swapping of Huawei FDD/ TDD equipment to FDD/TDD platforms.
• Baseband Experience: Hands-on experience with BBU5216, BBU6630, BBU6648, BBU6631, and RAN processor 6651.
• BBU Operations: Experience working with BBU5216 with XMU503.
• Tools: Proficiency in Winfiol and CITRIX, and alarm checking through secure CRT and Putty.
• Troubleshooting: Perform network troubleshooting and RET configuration when required.
• Anchor Definition: Handle Anchor Definition for 4G and 5G sites.
• Activity Support: Support degrowth and decommissioning activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in NOC operations and maintenance.
• Hands-on knowledge of baseband hardware and configuration.
• Familiar with network alarm handling, change, configuration, and fault management procedures.
• Experience with network swapping, expansion, and technology migration.
• Familiar with Winfiol, CITRIX, Putty, and alarm-monitoring tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot, resolve, and implement fixes promptly.
• Experience in 4G and 5G anchor configuration and degrowth activity is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication, Telecom, or related discipline.
• Certifications (such as EPC, RAN, or NOC certifications) will be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle pressure in a live network environment.
