PCB Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on PCB Technician with experience in BGA rework and repair. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and reworking complex PCB assemblies, ensuring high-quality workmanship and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform PCB repair, rework, and component-level troubleshooting

2. Handle BGA rework including reballing, replacement, and alignment

3. Diagnose faults in assembled PCBs using schematics and test equipment

4. Use soldering tools such as hot air stations, BGA rework stations, and microscopes

5. Replace SMD and through-hole components with precision

6. Inspect boards for defects, soldering quality, and workmanship standards

7. Work closely with engineering and production teams for issue resolution

8. Maintain proper documentation of repairs and failure analysis

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. ITI in Electronics or related field

2. 2–3 years of hands-on experience in PCB repair and rework

3. Strong experience with BGA rework and reballing techniques

4. Good understanding of electronic components and circuits

5. Proficiency in soldering SMD components (0402/0603 and above)

6. Experience using microscopes, hot air stations, and rework equipment

7. Ability to read schematics and identify faults

Preferred Skills

1. Familiarity with IPC standards.

2. Experience in failure analysis and root cause identification

3. Exposure to production or service repair environments

Soft Skills

1. High attention to detail

2. Good hand-eye coordination and steady soldering skills
