Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Job Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors, answering phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, customers, and guests, creating a positive and professional impression of the organization.
- Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes when required
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
- Communicate messages accurately and promptly
- Assist staff with general office support as needed
- Qualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Basic computer skills (email, word processing, scheduling software)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Work EnvironmentOffice or front-desk setting
- May require sitting for extended periods
- Interaction with clients, staff, and visitors throughout the day
