Pipe Fitter

Job Title: Fitter – Gas & Chemical Piping Systems

Qualification:

ITI – Fitter / Pipe Fitter

NCVT Certification (Preferred)

Experience:

 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Gas piping & Chemical piping installations

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform installation, fabrication, and fit-up of piping systems for gas and chemical lines.

 Handle installation and assembly of piping materials including PVC, PVDF, and PFA

piping systems.

 Carry out pipe cutting, threading, bending, alignment, and joint preparation as per

project drawings.

 Assist welding and jointing activities as per project requirements.

 Read and interpret piping drawings, layouts, and isometric drawings.

 Ensure proper measurement, marking, and installation of piping supports and

structures.

 Maintain quality standards and ensure piping installation meets project specifications.

 Follow safety procedures and maintain proper use of tools and equipment.

 Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for smooth project execution.

Technical Skills Required:

 Hands-on experience in installation and fit-up of PVC, PVDF, and PFA piping systems.

 Knowledge of gas and chemical pipeline installation standards.

 Ability to read and understand piping drawings and layouts.

 Basic knowledge of piping inspection and quality standards.
