Power BI Development Technology Lead

To lead the development of robust, scalable technology solutions that support the Alternatives Investment business, with a focus on Power BI, Python, AWS, SSRS, and other development platforms. This role will drive innovation, improve reporting capabilities, and ensure alignment with business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Development of business solutions using Power BI, Python, SSRS, PowerShell, SQL

Maintain Power BI data models, code repositories, workflow integration and other processes.

Enforce development standards and best practices.

Streamline internal and external data sources integration to support analytics.

Mentor junior developers and foster a high-performance culture.

Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols.

Drive automation and efficiency in everything you do, development, reporting, enhancements, automation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability.

Contribute to strategic planning and technology roadmaps.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 7+ years of experience developing technology solutions involving Python, AWS, BI/reporting platforms (Power BI, SSRS, SQL)

• Recent hands-on experience in Python, SQL, Power BI, PowerShell and data interfaces with applications and systems

• Experience developing scalable solutions and integrating data sources.

• Experience being an independent contributor.

• Good understanding of implementing data segregation and following standards.

• Independently handle complex problems and show demonstrable examples of personal success.

• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Finance or Alternatives Investment industry experience.

• Working experience in cloud platforms and automation tools.

• Knowledge of Atlassian tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket.

• Experience working in an agile environment
