Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - FinOps CoreStack SME
In this role, you will be responsible for oversee the cost optimization methods of the cloud projects and provide cost saving recommendations regularly. 
Responsibilities
•    Oversee the management and optimization of cloud costs across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
•    Implement cloud cost management strategies and best practices to ensure efficient use of resources.
•    Lead the development and implementation of FinOps practices across cloud environments.
•    Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending to identify cost-saving opportunities 
Collaborate with business, engineering and operations teams to align cloud usage with business goals.
•    Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for cloud cost visibility and forecasting.
•    Provide guidance on cloud pricing models, reserved instances, savings plans, and spot usage.
•    Establish and enforce tagging strategies and cost allocation methodologies.
•    Educate stakeholders on cloud financial management best practices.
•    Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for cloud expenditures.
•    Evaluate and implement FinOps tools and automation solutions.
•    Work closely with Core stack vendor in implementing the granular reporting and customized dashboards for client requirements.
•    Create custom reports and dashboards with the options that are available in the FinOps tool

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
•    Experience in cloud financial management, cloud operations, or IT finance.
•    Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their pricing models.
•    Experience with cloud cost management tools (e.g., CoreStack, CloudHealth, Cloudability, nOps, CloudZero).
•    Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and scripting (Python, SQL) is a plus.
•    Knowledge of financial reporting and budgeting processes.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

•    FinOps certifications such as Certified FinOps Practitioner or similar.
•    AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent cloud certifications
•    Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
•    Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
•    Experience with financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
•    Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
