Principal Consultant-Senior Data Developer - Talend

Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant-Senior Data Developer - Talend
In this role, As a Senior Data Developer specializing in Talend, your role revolves around designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Talend's suite of products.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with business stakeholders and data architects to understand data integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
· Design, develop, and test data integration jobs, workflows, and processes using Talend Studio. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following Talend development best practices.
· Design data models, mappings, and transformations to ensure accurate and efficient data integration and migration. Implement data quality checks and validation rules to maintain data integrity.
· Optimize Talend jobs and processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through tuning, optimization, and parallelization techniques.
· Design and implement integrations between Talend and other systems, databases, and applications. Ensure seamless data exchange, interoperability, and compatibility with existing IT infrastructure.
· Implement security measures in Talend solutions to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS. Implement encryption, access controls, and data masking techniques as needed.
· Set up monitoring tools and processes to track the health and performance of Talend integration jobs and processes. Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and data loss.
· Create technical documentation, including design documents, deployment guides, and operational manuals for Talend solutions. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users as needed.
· Manage version control for Talend jobs and artifacts using tools like Git or SVN. Implement deployment pipelines and automation scripts for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) of Talend solutions.
· Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data architects, database administrators, and business analysts. Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and project managers.
· Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Talend and data integration technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvements, tool enhancements, and skill development within the team.

Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
· Hands-on experience in data integration, ETL development, or a related field.
· Demonstrated proficiency in Talend Data Integration toolset.
· Strong understanding of ETL concepts and methodologies.
· Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
· Experience with data modeling, mapping, and transformation using Talend components.
· Familiarity with relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
· Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Talend.
· Good interpersonal, problem solving and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
· Talend Data Integration certification or relevant certifications demonstrating proficiency in Talend technologies.
· Extensive experience with Talend Data Integration toolset, including advanced features and capabilities.
· Knowledge of Talend Big Data, Talend Data Quality, and other Talend products.
· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
· Knowledge of cloud-based data integration solutions and services, such as AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Google Cloud Dataflow.
· Familiarity with various database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
· Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for creating informative dashboards and reports.
· Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to specific industries (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
