Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Scheduling Operations Specialist with over 10 years of hands-on expertise in enterprise batch operations. This role is critical to ensuring the success of business-critical applications through proactive support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of scheduling environments using tools like Tidal, Tivoli.Responsibilities:
• Lead day-to-day batch operations and ensure SLA compliance.
• Provide expert-level support for Tidal Workload Automation and related tools.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to enhance monitoring and analytics.
• Serve as a technical consultant for new implementations and integrations.
• Own and resolve incidents and service requests with urgency and precision.
• Identify and implement service improvements to optimize scheduling operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Mentor junior team members and promote cross-tier knowledge sharing.
• Escalate and manage extended service outages and high-impact incidents.
Team Role:
• Monitor team workflows and ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
• Contribute to service catalog and process documentation.
• Encourage continuous learning and skill development.
• Support knowledge transfer across IT Service Delivery teams.
• Recommend cost-effective improvements aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with Automation SME Lead on team development initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, UNIX shell).
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Proven expertise in job scheduling tools (Tidal, Tivoli, Control-M).
• Excellent communication and incident management skills.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
