Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Scheduling Operations Specialist with over 10 years of hands-on expertise in enterprise batch operations. This role is critical to ensuring the success of business-critical applications through proactive support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of scheduling environments using tools like Tidal, Tivoli.

Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day batch operations and ensure SLA compliance.
Provide expert-level support for Tidal Workload Automation and related tools.
Collaborate with automation engineers to enhance monitoring and analytics.
Serve as a technical consultant for new implementations and integrations.
Own and resolve incidents and service requests with urgency and precision.
Identify and implement service improvements to optimize scheduling operations.
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.
Mentor junior team members and promote cross-tier knowledge sharing.
Escalate and manage extended service outages and high-impact incidents.


Team Role:
Monitor team workflows and ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
Contribute to service catalog and process documentation.
Encourage continuous learning and skill development.
Support knowledge transfer across IT Service Delivery teams.
Recommend cost-effective improvements aligned with business needs.
Collaborate with Automation SME Lead on team development initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, UNIX shell).
Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
Proven expertise in job scheduling tools (Tidal, Tivoli, Control-M).
Excellent communication and incident management skills.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
