Inviting applications for the role of Process Developer/Business Analyst, BI Developer! 

In this role, you will develop, manage, and support data analytics and reporting platforms. You will create Business Intelligence and MI solutions as per the requirements produced by Business Analysts. You will test developed dashboards and produce test results documentation. Assisting with UAT execution and helping business users with acceptance testing will also be your responsibility. You will accommodate feedback from users during demos and provide inputs for Sprint Planning while flagging any risks. Reviewing existing data models, ETL processes, and providing recommendations for Datawarehouse improvements will also be part of your duties. You will also be responsible for providing production support for raised incidents and tickets as per Client’s response times and tools, performing Runbook maintenance tasks, and conducting ad-hoc investigations on data issues and defects. Additionally, you will support data quality business analysts in identifying data risks and quality issues and develop and update technical documentation. 

Responsibilities 

Production Support: 

• Provide production support for any raised incidents and tickets in accordance with Client identified response times and tools. 

• Perform Runbook maintenance tasks. 

• Conduct ad-hoc investigations on data issues and defects. 

• Support data quality business analysts in the identification of data risks and quality issues.  

Reports Development: 

• Develop, Manage and support data analytics and reporting platforms. 

• Create Business Intelligence and MI solutions (visualizations, reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards) as per the requirements produced by Business Analysts and in accordance with the Client Agile Delivery Methodology.  

• Test the dashboards that have been developed and produce test results documentation. 

• Assist with the UAT execution and help business users to complete any acceptance testing as required.  

• Accommodate feedback/suggestions from users during any demos. 

• Provide inputs for Sprint Planning and flag any risks in time. 

• Review existing data models, ETL processes, data lineage artefacts and provide recommendations for Datawarehouse improvements based on business requirements. 

• Develop and update technical documentation. 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications / Skills 

• Bachelor’s/ Post Graduation degree required in following Areas: B.Tech/B.E. in Computers, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Insurance  

• Proven past experience as a BI Developer. 

• Strong technical knowledge of the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSIS). 

• Significant experience of using SQL Management Studio and features (e.g. Stored Procedures). 

• Sound knowledge of database management, data modelling, business intelligence, SQL querying, data warehousing. 

• Knowledge of data quality assessments and data reconciliations.  

• Familiar with the Agile delivery methodology. 

• Background in the Insurance Sector. 

• Experience with any of the following tools : Alteryx, MicroStrategy, IBM Infosphere or any ETL platform. 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Have a desire to develop an expertise in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market operations. 

• Demonstrate a high degree of meticulosity, attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Are a strong problem solver and a good communicator.
