Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Role Objective

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the seamless performance of our Web and Mobile platforms. You will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying bugs, and leveraging modern AI-driven tools to accelerate our testing lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a logical problem-solver who understands that quality is not just about finding bugs, but about recognizing business impacting situations and preventing them.

Key Responsibilities

 • End-to-End Testing: Perform functional, regression, and UI/UX testing for both Web (cross-browser) and Mobile (iOS/Android) applications.

 • Test Documentation: Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on business requirements.

 • Automation Integration: Utilized automated testing methodologies and tools for automating, writing and maintaining scripts to improve test coverage.

 • AI-Enhanced QA: Utilize AI-based testing tools to assist in test data generation, automated script writing, and predictive bug analysis.

 • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Gitalab/Jira/BB ; work closely with developers to verify fixes.

 • Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups) to provide QA estimates and feedback on user stories.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

 • Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance.

 • Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of web technologies and mobile app testing environments (simulators/emulators and real devices).

 • Automation Knowledge: Solid understanding of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or Cypress).

 • AI Proficiency: Experience with or a strong understanding of AI tools in testing (e.g. any of Testim.io, Mabl, Applitools, or using LLMs like ChatGPT for test case generation).

 • API Testing: Familiarity with tools like Postman, Insomnia or Browser Inspector/Webtools for testing RESTful APIs. Candidate is expected to have strong undertsading of HTTP protocols so that deep level analysis and debugging is done and brought to developers.

 • Database: Basic knowledge of SQL for data verification and backend testing.

Soft Skills

 • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex requirements and identify potential failure points.

 • Logical Reasoning: Strong troubleshooting skills to pinpoint the root cause of an issue rather than just the symptom.

 • Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills for reporting technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
