R&D Electronics Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical & Electronics R&D Engineer to join our product development team. The role involves designing, prototyping, testing, and optimizing electronic systems for advanced LED lighting and IoT-based control solutions. The ideal candidate enjoys working across hardware, firmware, testing, and system integration in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hardware Design & DevelopmentDesign analog and digital circuits for LED drivers, power supplies, sensing systems, and control electronics

• Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools such as KiCad / Altium
• Select components (ICs, MOSFETs, magnetics, sensors) based on performance and cost optimization
• Support EMI/EMC, thermal, and reliability improvements in production designs

2. Embedded Systems DevelopmentDevelop firmware for microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, AVR, etc.)

• Implement PWM control, ADC sensing, communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, Modbus, MQTT)
• Integrate sensors (temperature, humidity, lux, PPFD, etc.) and actuator control systems

3. Prototyping & TestingBuild and validate prototypes through bench testing and field trials

• Conduct electrical characterization (efficiency, ripple, thermal behavior, protection tests)
• Work with test instruments (oscilloscope, power analyzer, multimeter, spectrometer, thermal camera)

4. System IntegrationIntegrate electronics with mechanical and optical subsystems

• Support IoT integration with backend dashboards and mobile apps
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and software teams for complete product validation

5. Documentation & SupportMaintain design documentation (schematics, BOMs, test reports, revision logs)

• Assist production team with troubleshooting and design improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering (B.Tech / BE)
• 1–4 years experience in electronics R&D (freshers with strong projects also encouraged)
• Strong fundamentals in analog/digital electronics and power electronics
• Experience with schematic and PCB design tools
