Job Description

Job Summary: The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and callers. This role is responsible for providing a welcoming and professional front-desk experience, handling administrative tasks, and supporting daily office operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a polite and professional manner
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
  • Manage front desk operations and maintain a tidy reception area
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and deliveries
  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes
  • Provide basic information about the company and services
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
  • Coordinate with internal departments as needed
  • Support office staff with clerical duties

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Professional appearance and attitude

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using office phone systems
  • Familiarity with scheduling software
  • Basic administrative or office management knowledge
