Job Description
Prodigy Infratech specializes in solving complex, high-volume hiring needs for industries globally. We are currently partnering with leading US-based logistics and transportation companies to staff their critical driver roles. We are looking for an exceptional, results-driven Recruiter based in India to spearhead our high-volume driver recruitment efforts across the United States.
This role requires a dedicated professional based in India with proven recruiting experience who can operate effectively within the US time zones and regulatory environment. You will manage the full-cycle, high-volume recruitment of Commercial Truck Drivers (CDL-A) across various states in the US. Success in this role hinges on process efficiency, high-touch communication, and a deep understanding of the unique requirements and compliance standards of US logistics hiring.
- Key Responsibilities1. High-Volume US Driver Recruitment Manage end-to-end recruitment for US Commercial Driver's License (CDL) holders (primarily Class A), including OTR (Over-the-Road), regional, and local routes.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies specific to the US driver market, utilizing niche job boards, driver networks, social media groups, and high-volume candidate outreach tools.
- Operate effectively within US business hours (e.g., late afternoon/evening IST) to maximize direct communication with US-based candidates and hiring managers.
- Compliance & Screening ExpertiseConduct detailed candidate screening to ensure strict adherence to all US federal and state regulations, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements.
- Verify essential driver credentials: CDL Class A status, driving experience, medical certifications (DOT), and review safety records.
- Manage the pre-screening phase which includes background checks and drug testing processes according to US transportation industry standards.
- Candidate & Client ManagementProvide an exceptional, high-touch candidate experience for drivers, guiding them clearly through complex compliance and onboarding steps.
- Serve as the main point of contact for US client hiring managers, providing regular, detailed updates on pipeline status and market challenges.
- Maintain meticulous records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data accuracy for compliance and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably in agency, BPO, or RPO environments.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English proficiency is mandatory, as is experience communicating professionally with US-based clients and candidates.
- Operational Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work a schedule that overlaps significantly with US Central/Eastern time zones
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern ATS systems and high-volume sourcing tools (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized driver job sites).
- Strong process orientation and ability to handle high administrative load efficiently.
