JOB DESCRIPTION - SALES MANAGER


Job Title: Sales Manager – Travel Industry

Location: Noida, Sector 62

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Fixed + Incentives)

Experience Required: 3–6 years (Travel Sales preferred)


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and manage a team of 5–6 sales executives in our growing travel agency. Currently, the founders are directly managing sales operations, and we are seeking a professional who can take ownership of the sales function, streamline processes, and drive consistent revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Supervise, guide, and manage a team of 5–6 sales executives handling travel sales (domestic and international packages).
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to improve conversions, revenue, and team performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track daily and weekly performance metrics, call quality, and conversions. Ensure targets are met consistently.
  • Process Optimization: Set up structured sales processes, scripts, follow-ups, and CRM discipline to improve efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Train team members on sales techniques, objection handling, and product knowledge.
  • Incentive Planning: Design and implement performance-based incentive structures to motivate the team.
  • Lead Management: Ensure proper distribution, tracking, and closure of incoming leads.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and insights to founders on sales performance and growth opportunities.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales management (3–6 years)
  • Prior experience in travel industry sales preferred
  • Strong understanding of sales funnels, lead conversion, and team handling
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Experience with CRM tools and call monitoring is a plus
