Job Description

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales growth for our rigid plastics manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, customer relationship management, and account management.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through direct customer outreach and networking.
  2. Client Servicing: Manage existing customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  3. Account Management: Develop and implement account management strategies to retain and grow existing customer accounts.
  4. Sample Management: Coordinate sending samples to customers and showcasing them to demonstrate product capabilities.
  5. In-Person Meetings: Conduct in-person meetings with customers across the country to build relationships and close deals.

Requirements:

  1. 2 years of experience in sales is the minimum, preferably in the packaging industry
  2. Strong understanding of sales principles and practices
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  5. Strong negotiation and closing skills

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
  2. Knowledge of the plastics manufacturing industry and its applications
  3. Familiarity with industry trends and market developments
