The Opportunity

 

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in SAP BW implementation, data modelling, ETL processes, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems. The role involves working closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, develop, and optimize data warehousing and reporting solutions.

 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

• Lead end-to-end SAP BW implementation and support projects, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Design and develop data models, InfoObjects, InfoProviders, DSOs, MultiProviders, and Composite Providers.
• Implement and optimize ETL processes using SAP Data Services, BW extractors, and data staging techniques.
• Integrate SAP BW with SAP ECC/S4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and other data sources.
• Develop and maintain BEx Queries, Analysis for Office reports, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) dashboards.
• Collaborate with functional and business teams to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize BW performance through data load tuning, query optimization, and database-level enhancements.
• Support data governance, data quality, and metadata management initiatives.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for BW issues.
• Stay updated with latest SAP technologies (e.g., BW/4HANA, Embedded Analytics, SAC integration) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

• Ideally, you’ll also need to have good knowledge in SAP cutting edge technologies like SAP Datasphere, SAP BDC, Exposure to Any SAP reporting tool like SAC or AFO or BOBJ.
