Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level Project Manager with demonstrated experience successfully leading and delivering projects end-to-end. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in business analysis and technical analysis, but will operate primarily in a project management capacity, driving execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery excellence across cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead medium-complexity initiatives through the full project lifecycle—from initiation and planning through execution, implementation, and transition.

  • Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, RAIDQ logs, project financial forecasts, and communication plans.

  • Actively monitor project health, manage risks/issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.

  • Lead cross-functional meetings, status updates, decision forums, and project working sessions.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational governance, documentation standards, and regulatory expectations.

Business & Technical Analysis (Applied Expertise)

  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable requirements and ensure solution alignment with business and technology strategies.

  • Support requirements gathering, process mapping, system/data analysis, and clarifications for technical teams.

  • Contribute to design discussions, solution validation, and quality assurance—including test planning, UAT coordination, and defect triage.

  • Help identify impacts across processes, systems, data flows, operations, and customer experience.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a primary point of contact between business partners, technology teams, operations, and vendors.

  • Communicate project progress, risks, and decisions in a clear, executive-ready manner.

  • Manage expectations, negotiate priorities, and facilitate decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.

Operational Excellence

  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the Bank delivery organization.

  • Recommend enhancements to processes, tools, templates, and ways of working.

  • Capture and socialize lessons learned to strengthen future project delivery.

    Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of direct project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives and 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst

  • Proven track record managing projects using Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Experience building project schedules, managing risks, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and driving project execution.

  • Strong business and technical analysis skills, with the ability to translate requirements into actionable plans.

    • Conduct detailed business analysis, translating high-level business needs into clear, concise, and complete requirements.

    • Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.

    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.

    • Ability to manage ambiguity while delivering structure, clarity, and momentum.

      Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in financial services, banking, operations, or technology implementation projects.

    • Vendor management or third‑party solution implementation experience.

    • Certifications: PMP, CAPM, CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.

    • Familiarity with Lean or process improvement methodologies.

Why This Role Is a Great Fit for the Right Candidate

  • Designed for someone with project management experience who also brings analytical depth to support strong delivery outcomes.

  • Opportunity to lead meaningful initiatives with visibility across business and technology teams.

  • Balanced mix of project execution, stakeholder leadership, and hands-on analytical work when needed.
