Job Description
- Manage daily logistics operations: inbound/outbound shipments, loading/unloading, last-mile delivery, and return processing.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate transport vehicles and delivery resources for optimal route utilisation and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate with courier partners, transport vendors, and internal departments for smooth operations.
- Track shipment status and resolve delivery-related issues or customer escalations promptly.
- Analyze operational data to identify performance gaps and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery performance, and operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports, KPIs, and operational dashboards for management review.
- Implement best practices in logistics planning, fleet utilization, and inventory management.
- Key Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics management systems (LMS) / courier tracking software.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting too
- Manage last-mile delivery operations across assigned hubs
- Monitor delivery performance (SLA, NDR, RTO) and drive improvements
