Senior Operations Manager - Master Data Management

 Inviting applications for the role of [Senior Manager, Master Data Management-, Product Master]! 

In this role, In this role, you be part of the iOps Services team, handling a team and reporting to the manager of MDM. You will be responsible for all the activities related to MDM domain. 

 
Responsibilities 

• Execute and manage the day-to-day activities for master data domains 

• Daily review of process KPI and reporting 

• Provide areas of operational improvement, digital solutions (Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning) and technology implementations such as SAP MDG, SAP S4 Hana 

• Ability to link master data issues/challenges to business processes, problems, and analytics 

• Escalation management 

• Experience in delivering sophisticated MDM strategy assessments & implementation roadmap 

• Identify continuous improvement projects and get them implemented 

• Mentor and Coach, the team members on the process 

• Provide direction and guidance to team members, measure and report on process for TL 

• Be able to handle project delivery / Ops Delivery - timeline and landmark management, partner relationship management 

• Set milestones for the team to execute 

• Have good knowledge of MDM Governance 

• Exposure to Reporting, Analytics, and data lake environments. Applies knowledge and skills to conduct sophisticated and systematic analyses of data to produce insights 

• Review progress against the set milestones and ensure adherence 

• Manage any transactional changes related to the Master data management activities Request gathering, analysing request and providing the solutions 

• Perform Process Controls & documentation, Quality Check. etc. 

• SOP documentation during OJT/KT and during BAU, capturing all the rules and exceptions in the process. This is an ongoing activity that demands good analytical and writing skills 

• Plan & support Transitions and ensure “First Time Right”. 

• Understanding of the process and nuances of different entities, understanding of entity specific norms etc. 

• proactive contributor on domain / process knowledge 

• Plan, perform, and implement process and data improvement initiatives. 

• Have a complete clarity and understanding of each single activity assigned 

• Brings in a clear understanding of how Finish Product /Material Master Data can impact various processes of any company i.e. Linkage of Finish Product Master Data to various Business Processes 

• Very good understanding of the E2E P2P and OTC activities and impact of MDM work to the downstream process 

• Collaborate with data stewards for designing and implementing policies, standards, and procedures for all Data Master hierarchies and categories 

• Manage, maintain and improve the master data to meet the governance requirements, data quality, and internal controls. 

• Work cohesively with remote teams 

• Ready to stretch during project deliveries. 

• Manage client expectations. 

• Take part & support Transitions and ensure “First Time Right”. 

• Addressing ad-hoc queries, liaising with entities, banner controllers, participate in governance meetings with customers, internal stakeholders & support teams. 

• Determine all tasks to be completed and maintain key report outs to internal as well client-side stake holders 

• Drive transformation and promote continuous improvement mindset amongst team members 

• Experienced with best practices in data validation & remediation 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Education:  Bachelor’s degree 

• Experience – Relevant Experience 

• Domain Knowledge – Master data Management 

• Good working knowledge and Hands on with SAP S4 HANA and MDG 

• Good People Management Skill 

• Relevant experience in SAP Master data for Customer with a FMCG organization 

• Should have good knowledge of Customer data requirements 

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Advanced use of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) 

• Good at Power BI, PowerApps 

• Understanding of SAP FI/CO commercial structures is an advantage 

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts 

• Great at communication, collaboration  

• Project management skills desired 

• Flexible, organized, multi- task team player 

• Have a continuous improvement mind set and support improvement projects from data perspective 

• Analytical, Problem Solving, Excel, Good Communication, able to work individually . Good Interpersonal Skill 

• Work with business units and process experts to resolve master data issues 

• High Energy level  

• Flexible about work in shifts
