### What You'll Do
We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Executive to sell our SaaS applications. You will have the following responsibilities.
- Own the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts — from first conversation to signed contract to onboarding handoff.
- Travel to client sites across India to run in-person demos, discovery workshops, and closing meetings. Expect 30–50% travel, including metros and Tier-2 cities.
- Run high-quality product demos tailored to the prospect's industry (real estate, education, insurance, healthcare, automotive, BFSI, travel) — not generic walkthroughs.
- Build and manage your own pipeline through a mix of inbound leads, outbound prospecting, partner referrals, and industry events.
- Qualify rigorously. Understand the prospect's current stack, team size, lead volume, and decision process before investing deal-cycle time.
- Negotiate and close annual contracts, including navigating procurement, legal, and multi-stakeholder approvals.
- Hand off cleanly to the onboarding team so customers go live in 7–10 days and stay long enough to renew.
- Feed the product and marketing loop. You're the eyes and ears in the market — what's working, what's breaking, what competitors are doing, what customers are actually asking for.
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas. Forecast accurately, update your pipeline honestly, and don't sandbag.
- Represent SmartBDM at industry events, conferences, and customer roundtables.
### Who You Are
- You have 3–6 years of B2B SaaS or solution-selling experience, ideally selling to sales, marketing, or operations leaders at SMB and mid-market companies.
- You've carried a quota before and hit it. You know the difference between a good pipeline and a vanity pipeline.
- You're comfortable running the full sales cycle yourself — prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, close — and you've done it across deal sizes from ₹1L to ₹15L+ ARR.
- You're road-ready. You're happy to be on flights, in client offices, and at industry events — you believe the best deals still close across a table, not just a Zoom call.
- You can hold your own in a conversation with a founder, a sales head, and a finance team — sometimes in the same meeting.
- You're genuinely curious about how businesses run. You ask good questions, you listen harder than you pitch, and you can map a customer's pain to a product in real time.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity. We're early — playbooks will be written by the people who show up, not handed to them.
- Bilingual in English and Hindi is required
### Compensation
Your compensation will have three components - A fixed salary (decided based on your last CTC, your experience and skillset), a performance bonus (split into 2 half yearly bonus - depending on you hitting your targets) and a fixed handsome commission per sales. This fixed commission per sale won't have any upper limit. So, if you are good at your job, you will definitely love working with us.
