Senior Scientific Officer

1)To execute routine work in the laboratory, including documentation (as instructed), processing, and conducting tests/analysis by your team.

2) May assist in scheduling and assigning routine work to junior staff.

3) Ensure compliance with the Quality Plan pertaining to tests and equipment.

4) Monitor the status of team work and ensure all reports are saved in line with the results received on the equipment.

5) Conduct and participate in all training programs arranged as per the training calendar or by the Chief Technical and Quality Manager.

6) Complete any other tasks assigned by top management from time to time.

7) Ensure that all test results are generated as per the specified turnaround time or time commitments to customers.

8) Coordinate and conduct in-house equipment maintenance as per schedule and keep equipment in up-to-date working condition.

9) Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

10) Ensure laboratory safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.

11) Ensure proper cleaning and follow safety and precaution guidelines.

12) Manage laboratory inventory.

13) Provide technical guidance, training, and supervision to junior lab technicians and new hires.

14) Assist in conducting RCA and CAPA.

15) Assist in the resolution of equipment breakdowns.

16) Close monitoring and information reviewing for critical reports.

17) Handle the queries.
