Network and Security Automation Consultant Desired Experience: 4 - 10 years of experience Core Skills: Automation expert with extensive experience in Software Defined Network (SDN) technologies such as Cisco ACI and VMware NSX Technical Expertise on Network OEM products like Cisco Nexus Switching Platform, Checkpoint and PaloAlto Firewall Systems, F5 and Avinet Load Balancers Working knowledge of any Configuration Management and IAC tools Like Ansible, Terraform, Saltstack, Stackstorm, Chef or Puppet. Experience with containerization, infrastructure, and orchestration frameworks. Good Hands-on experience on cloud infrastructure environments, preferably AWS/Azure/GCP/VMware and good knowledge of their best practices. Should have knowledge on writing scripts for automation using Shell/Python/Perl/PowerShell/Bash Basic Linux, Unix, and Windows Administration. Soft Skill: Excellent Communication skills (written & verbal) Good Documentation Skills Good Presentation Skill Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for implementing and driving best practices for Network and Security Automation Identify and recommend appropriate technology stacks, tools, frameworks, and integration strategies. Review, advice and design standards, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process & goals. Work with Application Development, Information Security and Operations teams to provide fully automated build and deployment routines for development, staging, and production environments. Coach and mentor team members and guide on technical challenges, maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights. Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology/MCA (Master of Computer Applications)/Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Communications Certification (Preferred): Cisco Certified Network Professional HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation exam Tags: Strong understanding and extensive experience with Network and Security Automation. Must have exposure to different SDN stacks like Cisco ACI and VMware NSX. Working Knowledge of configuration Management tools and scripting technologies.
