Job Description
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and servicing of industrial refrigeration systems, chillers, cold rooms, and HVAC equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in compressors, evaporators, condensers, and related components.
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels as per product or process requirements.
- Supervise a team of technicians and ensure adherence to maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain detailed logs of system performance, pressure readings, and temperature parameters.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure timely repairs to minimize breakdowns and production losses.
- Handle refrigerant charging, recovery, and leak detection in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to support smooth plant operations.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables related to refrigeration systems.
- Prepare maintenance reports and share periodic updates with management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HACCP, ISO, and other relevant safety standards.
- Support installation and commissioning of new refrigeration equipment and system upgrades.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment handling and safety practices.
- Continuously review and improve energy efficiency and system performance.
