Job Description


JD for Service Coordinator

We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Service Coordinator to manage service requests, coordinate field technicians, and ensure timely resolution of customer issues. The role involves scheduling, communication, documentation, and supporting the service team to deliver high-quality customer service.



Key Responsibilities

1. Service Scheduling & Coordination

  • Receive and log service requests from customers.
  • Schedule and dispatch service engineers/technicians.
  • Coordinate appointments and confirm service visits.
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.

2. Customer Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for service-related queries.
  • Provide updates on service status and expected timelines.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalate when necessary.

3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare service job cards, work orders, and invoices.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities.
  • Generate daily/weekly service reports and MIS.

4. Team Support

  • Coordinate with the technical team for spare parts and resources.
  • Ensure service engineers have necessary documentation and materials.
  • Track technician performance and service turnaround time.

5. Billing & Follow-ups

  • Coordinate with accounts for service billing and payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) records and renewals.
  • Track pending service calls and ensure closure.



Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in service coordination or customer support.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel and service management software/ERP.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle customer interactions professionally.
