Job Purpose: Shift Manager Operations will lead and manage the operations team, overseeing the daily activities of the data centre. This role involves developing operational policies, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting technology implementation, while also managing the operational budget and providing leadership during critical incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution units, UPS systems, and switchgear.
• Oversee mechanical systems maintenance, including chillers, pumps, and HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Ensure the upkeep and functionality of DG sets, fuel storage systems, and fire detection & firefighting equipment.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to ISO standards and SLA requirements, ensuring compliance with operational benchmarks.
• Manage site billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Coordinate vendor management activities, including procurement, performance evaluation, and contract adherence.
• Lead shift operations, ensuring smooth handovers and effective supervision of on-site teams.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Handle incident reporting and resolution management, ensuring timely and effective solutions to operational challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in data center operations or critical infrastructure management.
• Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC system maintenance within large-scale facilities.
