Site Civil Engineer

Job Responsibilities : -

Site Supervision

Supervise daily construction activities at the site as per drawings and specifications

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams

Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery

Monitor work progress and report status to the Project Manager

Engineering & Technical Duties

Study drawings, BOQs, and specifications and execute work accordingly

Prepare and check site measurements, quantity calculations, and work estimates

Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings and standards

Identify and resolve technical issues at the site

Quality Control

Ensure quality of workmanship and materials used at the site

Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards

Maintain quality checklists and site records

Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety norms and company safety policies

Conduct toolbox talks and ensure use of PPE by site staff and workers

Maintain safety records and report any incidents or hazards

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with architects, consultants, suppliers, and vendors

Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), material reports, and labor reports

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution

Material Management

Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage

Verify material deliveries as per specifications and quantities

Maintain stock and material registers

Qualifications & Skills

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred)

Experience

2–6 years of experience in construction/site supervision (can be adjusted)

Technical Skills

Knowledge of construction methods and site execution

Ability to read and interpret drawings and BOQs

Familiarity with quality and safety standards

Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word); AutoCAD is an advantage

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and supervision skills

Good communication and coordination abilities

Problem-solving mindset

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
