Job Description
- Maintain and update spare parts inventory with accuracy.
- Receive incoming spare parts, verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.
- Store spare parts in an organized manner with proper labeling and binning.
- Issue spare parts against requisition slips and record consumption details.
- Monitor stock levels regularly and raise purchase requisitions for replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety, and housekeeping practices in the store.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation with accounts.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Maintain records of warranty, service, and vendor details of critical spare parts.
- Prevent pilferage, damage, or misuse of spare parts through strict controls.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
- Support in implementing FIFO/LIFO methods and proper material handling.
