STP Operator

The STP Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the sewage treatment plant. This position involves regular monitoring and operation of STP equipment, performing routine maintenance, and addressing any issues that arise to ensure the plant operates within regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor STP equipment and machinery.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the treatment plant.

• Collect and test water samples to ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Document operational data and report any irregularities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.

• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with safety regulations.

• Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs and upgrades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in operating and maintaining STP or similar facilities.

• Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment.

• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy equipment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Willingness to work in a physically demanding and sometimes hazardous environment.
