Talent Acquisition Specialist

 

Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for call center roles. This role focuses on high-volume recruitment, ensuring timely hiring of customer service representatives, tele-callers, team leaders, and support staff while maintaining quality standards and reducing attrition.



Key Responsibilities

 

1. Recruitment & Sourcing

Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle for call center positions

Source candidates through job portals (e.g., Naukri.com, Indeed), social media, employee referrals, and walk-ins

Conduct bulk hiring drives and job fairs

Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline

 

2. Screening & Selection

Conduct telephonic and face-to-face interviews

Assess communication skills, customer handling ability, and language proficiency

Coordinate with operations managers for final interviews

Perform background and reference checks

 

3. Employer Branding

Promote the company as an employer of choice

Coordinate campus recruitment drives

Manage job postings and recruitment advertisements

 

4. Reporting & Compliance

Maintain recruitment trackers and reports

Monitor key hiring metrics (TAT, cost-per-hire, attrition rate)

Ensure compliance with company hiring policies



Required Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in bulk hiring / volume recruitment

Knowledge of call center KPIs and operations

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines



Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

1–5 years of experience in recruitment (BPO/call center preferred)



Preferred Experience

Hiring for inbound/outbound processes

Multilingual recruitment experience

Campus hiring exposure
