Job Description: Teacher for Challengers group trust (NGO)

Position: Teacher

Organization: Challengers group 

Location: Noida sector 22

Job Type: Part-Time ( 7-8 hours daily, 12 PM – 7 PM)

*Role Overview*

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and versatile teacher to educate and mentor underprivileged children. The teacher has to go slum area some days with the team members to educate the children of slum. The candidate must be capable of teaching all subjects and fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

*Key Responsibilities*

1. Subject Mastery:

Teach basic subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies to children of various age groups.

2. Classroom Management:

Handle children with care and patience, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.

3. Activity-Based Learning:

Design and conduct creative and educational activities to make learning engaging and fun.

4. Child-Centric Approach:

Understand and cater to the unique emotional and educational needs of the students.

5. Progress Monitoring:

Regularly assess the students' academic performance and provide constructive feedback.

6. Community Engagement:

Work closely with the NGO team to align teaching strategies with the organization’s mission and values.

*Key Qualifications*

1. Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or any relevant field.

2. Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience (experience with underprivileged children is preferred).

3. Skills:

Ability to teach all subjects.

Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.

Creativity in planning educational activities.

4. Attributes:

Empathy, patience, and a passion for teaching.

Cultural sensitivity and adaptability. 

Work Hours & Compensation

*Timings: 7-8 hours Monday to Saturday (12:00 PM – 7:00 PM).*

*Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience and skills.*
