Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Manual Tester with Database expertise to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting manual tests to ensure the software created by developers fits its purpose. Your duties will include reviewing and analyzing system specifications, executing test scripts and reviewing results, reporting and documenting technical issues, and handling database testing. Your expertise in database management will be crucial in ensuring the smooth running of our software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing and database testing to ensure the quality of software products.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.

Required Skills

• QA (Quality Assurance): Must have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, techniques, and tools.
• Manual Testing: Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and techniques is required.
• Database Management: Expertise in database management systems, SQL, and data manipulation languages.
• The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Quality Assurance: Experience in other areas of quality assurance, such as automation testing, is a plus.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with Test Management Tools
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript
• Knowledge of performance testing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Understanding of ETL processes
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark
