Position: Sales Engineer (B2B Technical Sales)
Experience: Minimum 2 Years (Relevant Industry Experience Mandatory)
Industry Preference: Chemical Manufacturing Industry (required experience)
Location: Sector 65, Noida, India (Travel required as per customer visits and business requirements)
About the Role:
We are looking for a Sales Engineer with strong technical product knowledge and B2B selling capability. The candidate will handle customer support, trials, business development, and technical solution selling for products such as:
- Thermal Adhesive / Thermal Grease / Silicone Grease
- Flux (Electronics / Solar / Industrial Applications)
- SMT Red Glue
- Cyanoacrylate Adhesives (Cyno)
- Potting Compounds
- This role requires a balance of field sales, technical application support, and new customer development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thermal Adhesive / Silicone Grease (Technical + Sales Responsibility)
- Provide technical support and product guidance to customers (application, usage, troubleshooting).
- Conduct product demonstrations, testing support, and customer trials to prove performance benefits.
- Work closely with customers to understand requirements and propose customized solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Production / R&D / QC) to ensure correct product selection and timely supply.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with decision-makers and technical teams.
Flux (Sales + Process Support Responsibility):
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales revenue and market share for Electo Flux range.
- Provide technical training to customers and internal teams on correct application and handling.
- Conduct site visits, usage audits, and process support for improved customer results.
- Support customers in selecting or developing customized flux solutions based on application requirements.
- Generate new business leads and convert them into long-term accounts.
Industry Focus Areas:
Chemical Manufacturing Industry:
- Promote and support Electo solutions in industrial manufacturing environments.
- Enable customers through technical trials and process support for thermal grease and flux applications.
- Drive account expansion through relationship-building and ongoing technical engagement.
LED / Electronics Manufacturing Industry:
- Support customers with thermal solutions used in heat management and reliability improvement.
- Recommend correct grade selection for thermal grease/adhesive based on application needs.
- Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction through trials, feedback closure, and repeat orders.
Aviation / High-Reliability Applications:
- Coordinate technical discussions for performance-driven and reliability-critical requirements.
- Support customers with trial planning, validation, and correct product usage.
- Build relationships with OEMs, vendors, and suppliers for long-term supply engagement.
- Common Responsibilities (Across All Industries)
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and channel coordination.
- Conduct technical presentations, product trials, and on-site support.
- Identify and pursue new customer development and applications.
- Track sales pipeline, customer feedback, trial status, and closures.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and customer expectations.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong technical understanding of thermal paste/grease, thermal adhesive, flux, SMT chemicals.
- Ability to explain products confidently to customers, including process and application knowledge.
- Strong communication skills and customer-handling capability.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with travel for customer visits.
- Good problem-solving ability for basic troubleshooting and process-level discussions.
- Ability to coordinate internally and close tasks in a structured manner.
Qualification (Preferred):
- Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech / BE (Mechanical / Chemical / Electronics / Polymer / Industrial)
- Candidates with proven B2B industrial sales background in chemicals / electronics consumables will be preferred.
