Job Overview: 

HIMTEK is looking for a Testing Technician with 1-2 years of experience in electrical, electronic, and electromechanical products. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on testing components for water meters and sensors. The role involves assembling and calibrating testing equipment, performing tests on products for compliance, and reporting findings to senior management. The candidate must possess technical expertise in testing procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Educational Qualifications: 

Ø Associate’s degree in Non-Destructive Testing, Applied Technology, or a related field.

Ø Certification as a Testing Technician in a relevant business area.

Ø Strong knowledge of testing procedures and protocols.

 Experience and Skills Required: 

Ø 1-2 years of experience in testing roles within industrial and manufacturing sectors, focusing on electrical and electronic products.

Ø Proficiency in testing equipment and industry-specific software.

Ø Knowledge of firmware used for testing PCBs and the ability to diagnose faults.

Ø Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ø Experience in report writing, data analysis, and documentation.

Ø Ability to work unsupervised and manage testing equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities: 

Ø Assemble, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment.

Ø Conduct tests to examine and investigate specific components and aspects of products.

Ø Ensure testing equipment is maintained and stored according to procedures.

Ø Analyze testing results and communicate findings with the team.

Ø Recommend procedural improvements to enhance test processes.

Ø Ensure products comply with safety, performance, and regulatory standards.

Ø Document test results and report issues through proper channels.

Ø Collaborate with senior management to implement improvements in testing protocols.
