Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesOutbound Calling & Follow-ups
  • Call potential students and parents from lead lists generated via digital campaigns, referrals, and partner coaching centers.
  • Explain Pathorient’s services (counselling, university selection, application & visa support) in a clear and friendly manner.
  • Do daily follow-ups with warm leads via calls and WhatsApp until they visit/attend a counselling session.
  • Lead Qualification & Appointment Booking
  • Ask the right questions to understand the student’s profile: education background, target country, budget, timelines, test scores, etc.
  • Identify serious prospects and book appointments (offline/online) with counsellors.
  • Ensure high show-up rate by sending reminders and confirming attendance.
  • CRM & Reporting
  • Update every call, follow-up, and status change properly in the CRM (lead stage, notes, next action).
  • Maintain accurate daily call logs, conversion reports (calls to visits, visits to applications), and share basic insights with the team.
  • Coordinate with marketing and counsellors to improve lead quality and communication.
  • Relationship Building & Brand Representation
  • Build trust with students and parents through polite, professional, and empathetic communication.
  • Handle basic objections (fees, location, doubts about studying abroad) and escalate complex queries to counsellors.
  • Represent Pathorient’s brand values – integrity, transparency, and student success.
  • Desired Candidate ProfileEducation: Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred in any stream.
  • Experience: 0–2 years in telecalling / inside sales / customer service. EdTech or education counselling experience is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent verbal communication in Hindi & English (any additional regional language is a plus).
  • Confident on phone; able to make 80–120 calls per day comfortably.
  • Basic computer skills – MS Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with CRM/WhatsApp Web.
  • Good listening skills and patience; ability to handle anxious parents and students.
  • Personality:
  • Target-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
  • Punctual, disciplined, and comfortable in a structured process environment.
  • Performance Metrics (What Success Looks Like)Number of calls made and connections per day.
  • Appointment bookings and counselling session show-up rate.
  • Quality of CRM updates and follow-up discipline.
  • Contribution to monthly enrolment targets (indirectly).
