Job Description

We are looking for a proactive GeM/ Tender Executive to manage our company’s operations on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal for our electronics product portfolio.

The role involves catalog management, bid participation, reverse auctions, and order processing, while also coordinating with distributors and channel partners who will procure products through our GeM catalog and supply them to government buyers.

The candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth portal operations, compliance with GeM guidelines, and supporting channel partners to drive government sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and operate the company’s GeM seller/OEM account for electronics products.
  • Create and maintain product catalogs, ensuring accurate specifications, pricing, images, certifications, and compliance documents.
  • Handle catalog approvals, product updates, and category compliance requirements on the GeM portal.
  • Identify relevant bids, tenders, and reverse auctions (RA) related to the company’s product categories.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial bid documents on the GeM portal.
  • Participate in Reverse Auctions and price discovery processes to maintain competitive pricing and L1 positioning where applicable.
  • Manage OEM authorization and coordination with distributors/channel partners who purchase products through GeM for government supply.
  • Assist distributors and channel partners with order placement, documentation, and transaction processes on the portal.
  • Track bid status, order confirmations, dispatch timelines, and payment processing through the GeM system.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely fulfillment of GeM orders.
  • Maintain documentation related to GeM compliance, product certifications, and order records.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, market demand, and buyer activity to optimize product visibility and bid strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with GeM policies, government procurement regulations, and portal guidelines.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Electronics, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience handling GeM portal operations.
  • Hands-on experience in catalog management, bid participation, and order processing on GeM.
  • Understanding of government procurement processes and e-tendering systems.
  • Strong coordination skills to work with internal teams and channel partners.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and online portal management.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in electronics manufacturing or OEM companies.
  • Familiarity with OEM authorization, reseller models, and channel-based GeM sales.
  • Experience participating in Reverse Auctions (RA) and price discovery mechanisms.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Number of bids and reverse auctions successfully participated in.
  • Revenue generated through GeM and channel partner purchases.
  • Accuracy and compliance of product catalog listings.
  • Order fulfillment timelines and dispatch efficiency.
  • Successful coordination with distributors and channel partners.


Salary: 25000 - 40000
