Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Posting Executive to accurately post payments received from insurance companies and patients. The role ensures proper reconciliation of payments, adjustments, and denials in accordance with US healthcare billing guidelines.

Key Responsibilities Post

• insurance payments from EOBs and ERAs into the billing system
• Post patient payments (cash, check, credit card) accurately
• Identify and post contractual adjustments, write-offs, and deductibles
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) for accuracy
• Identify underpayments, overpayments, and denials
• Forward unresolved issues to AR/Denial teams
• Balance daily deposits and ensure payment accuracy
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of US medical billing payment posting process
• Ability to read and interpret EOBs and ERAs
• Understanding of adjustment and denial codes
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Tools & SystemsMedical billing software (EPIC, Kareo, eClinicalWorks, Athena, etc.)
• Clearinghouses and payer portals
• Excel / MS Office (basic knowledge)
• Eligibility / Qualifications Graduate / Undergraduate (any stream)
• Medical billing training or certification preferred
• Freshers with training can apply
• Experience0–4 years experience in Payment Posting
• Freshers with hands-on training are welcome
