Fabric store in charge

Fabric store in charge required for a fabric distribution company. As a store in charge, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory of materials, supplies, receipt and issue of fabrics as per demand. You will work closely with production manager and sales team to ensure the timely issuing and distribution of items, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all materials are available when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inward Receiving
• Receive the material inward with proper inventory and tally with bills.
• Proper allocation to the designated area and inventory updating.
• Fabric Issuing
• Process the fabric orders as received from the sales or production department.
• Make sure the fabric is cut as per the requirements, and packed and labelled properly with complete documentation.
• Guide the cutting and packing team to efficiently and effectively dispatch the orders in a time bound manner.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain and update inventory records of fabrics and materials
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and raise requisition as needed to prevent shortages.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including receipts, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory status and requisitions.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with production and sales teams to understand material requirements and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
