Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating custom WordPress themes and plugins. You should have a strong understanding of industry trends, content management systems, and an eye for design and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins

Customize existing themes and plugins as per project requirements

Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability

Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers

Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Implement SEO best practices in site structure and code

Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs

Manage website updates, security, and backups

Integrate third-party APIs and services

Maintain documentation for code, processes, and website features

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP

Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugin development

Familiarity with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders

Experience with MySQL and database management

Understanding of RESTful APIs and AJAX

Basic knowledge of Git or other version control systems

Ability to convert PSD/Figma designs to functional WordPress sites

Knowledge of website optimization tools (Google PageSpeed, GTmetrix)

Familiarity with WooCommerce, Multilingual plugins (WPML/Polylang) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field

Experience working in an Agile development environment

Knowledge of SEO tools and best practices

Understanding of security best practices for WordPress
